does antiqued stained furniture contain lead?
I know some antique painted furniture might contain lead in the paint. What about stained furniture? Does it post any kind of danger to residential environment?

No. Lead is a pigment.
Lead in paint is dangerous. Period. It is particularly harmful to children, but can cause physical problems in adults, too. I've never heard of lead being added to stain, but it's better to be safe.

You can purchase a lead testing kit at your local hardware store very inexpensively. You are right to be concerned with this; when products contain lead, any dust that falls on them can become contaminated.
